LEICESTERSHIRE
|
|
Think of Leicestershire and you think of foxhunting, the heart of
the English countryside – it is further than any other County from the
sea. The huge County town of
Leicester is a real cultural crossroads, with immigrants from every part of
the Commonwealth and beyond. But the
County as a whole is still largely agricultural, and there are still plenty of
those crafty foxes around, especially now that foxhunting with dogs has been
made illegal. |
